LEGO Is About to Unleash the S.H.I.E.L.D. HELICARRIER

Finally, your epic LEGO recreation of the Avengers film can be accurately depicted. Yes, LEGO has heard our cries and is unleashing a ginormous, 2,996-piece, S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier set. That’s right — nearly 3,000 pieces, folks. Bigger is better, after all. Plus, as we all know, the ultimate fate of all Helicarriers is a dramatic and bombastic crash sequence, and what better way to capture that than with a LEGO set?

Revealed exclusively to The Wall Street Journal – the go-to source for the latest LEGO news – this monster set comes with everything you need to recreate your favorite movie and comic moments. Along with the Helicarrier, the set includes several other microscale vehicles and 5 minifigures, one of which is the amazing Maria Hill. Since the set is technically microscaled – although, at 31 inches long, calling this thing micro seems ridiculous – it also comes with 12 microscaled figures to man and operate your new flying behemoth.

Logistically, finding a place in your home to display this bad boy might be an issue, but hey, if friends and family cant appreciate a gorgeous centerpiece like this, maybe it’s time to get a new social circle. Just imagine having a dinner party where guests casually pick appetizers off a S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier runway. Why, you’d be the talk of the town. Or the Hail of the Hydra, even.

The LEGO Helicarrier set is due in March and has a price tag of $349.99. Start saving those pennies, kiddies.
