The Joker Headlines a New Game in LEGO DC SUPER-VILLAINS Trailer

The LEGO DC games have previously allowed players to step into the roles of the world’s greatest superheroes like Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. However, the newest title in the franchise is going full bad guy. Warner Bros. Games, The LEGO Group, DC Comics, and TT Games have jointly revealed their latest collaboration: LEGO DC Super-Villains. As the name implies, players will get to take control over the most iconic DC bad guys, including the Joker, Harley Quinn, Lex Luthor, Deathstroke, Killer Frost, and more. The announcement trailer for the game offers a glimpse of the chaos to come, as the villains seize control of a Metropolis that is unguarded by its heroes.

LEGO DC Super-Villains takes place shortly after the Justice League has disappeared, which allows their alternate world counterparts, the Justice Syndicate, to step up and fill the void. However, the Justice Syndicate may not be what they seem, and it places the villains in the unusual position of attempting to uncover their true intentions. But don’t assume that everyone’s favorite fiends are hitting the straight and narrow. LEGO DC Super-Villains allows players to wreck havoc along the way.

This title also lets gamers create their own super villain character who can become one of the main players in the unfolding story while co-starring alongside DC’s legendary rogues gallery. The story will also take place in famous locations from the DC universe. Given Darkseid’s prominent placement on the official poster below, perhaps the action will even head to Apokolips.

LEGO DC Super-Villains is coming to Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 18.
