Latest THE X-FILES Ad Calls Mulder and Scully for a ‘Spooky Experience’

“They said that you two have experience with these spooky cases.”

“Nooo.”

“We used to.”

“..we used to.”

A “spooky case” you say? No wonder they’re getting the team back together. That’s the premise behind yet another new commercial (“Spooky Experiences”) for the upcoming The X-Files mini-series revival, where Fox Mulder and Dana Scully get back together to investigation the type of case they are uniquely qualified for.

“We’ve been given another case, Mulder. It has a monster in it.”

Just the way we like it.

The trailers and commercials for this reboot have promised lots of what we loved about the show, from monsters and aliens, to government conspiracies and cover-ups, to danger and mysterious men in the shadows, but just as importantly, it’s clear we’re going to get plenty of playful banter and stern conversations between our two favorite FBI agents.

“Are you ready for this, Scully?”

“I don’t know there’s a choice.”

We brought you coverage earlier this week of another new teaser for the show, one titled “The Truth” that had more of a focus on aliens.

Six episodes feels like a lot for a mini-series, but not a lot for a show that created its own complex and compelling mythos, but it doesn’t look like Fox or Chris Carter plan on omitting any of that. It looks like we are going to get six packed episodes.

I can’t wait. Unfortunately we have to until January.

What are you most excited about from all these commercials and trailers? Tell us in the comments below.
