Kanye West Unveiled New Video Game About His Late Mother During YEEZY SEASON 3

“That was hard to do, bro,” said Kanye West after unveiling his brand new video game at his fashion show, Yeezy Season 3.

Yeezy’s fashion show really did have everything: New tracks from his new album The Life of Pablo, futuristic-looking garb, and, of course, a video game announcement…wait, what? That’s right, the legendary artist took to the stage at New York’s Madison Garden to do his thing, taking the opportunity to reveal Only One: The Video Game. The game is about Kanye’s late mother, Donda West, making her way into Heaven. You can watch the reveal trailer above. There’s no release date just yet.

In true Yeezy fashion, he rolled the trailer twice because the crowd wasn’t enthused enough the first time through. Only Mr. West can do something like that and get away with it. It’s honestly difficult to say much about the quality of the game since so little was shown, but it seems like an incredibly sweet tribute to his mother. And seeing how he’s a true mogul, there’s no reason to doubt Only One: The Video Game will be successful even if it isn’t the best experience.

The coolest moment came when he mentioned how difficult it was to undertake this venture because apparently Silicon Valley wasn’t too keen on helping Ye create the title. We’re talking about a man who’s at the top of the music game and is now conquering the fashion business, and even he thought it was hard to get a video game project off the ground.

What do you guys think about this project? Did you enjoy Yeezy Season 3? Let us know in the comments below!
