Kaley Cuoco Is DC Universe’s HARLEY QUINN

DC Universe made some massive moves at the world premiere of Titans at NYCC tonight. Not only did they showcase the brilliant pilot of the much anticipated and talked about adaptation of Teen Titans, but they also made two big reveals: one of them centering around everyone’s favorite anti-hero Harley Quinn. First, DC shared a pretty funny and irreverent video teaser for the DC Universe exclusive animated show which starred Harley, Ivy and even Batman, with plenty of swears and meta humor. But it was the casting reveal that really shocked fans at the huge convention.

After debuting the video DC revealed the new voice of Gotham’s criminal queenpin Harley Quinn. It was a big surprise for fans, as The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco took to the stage and announced that she would not only be voicing the beloved character in the show but also executive producing the project. This is an interesting turn of events, as Cuoco’s co-star Melissa Rauch voiced Harley in the recent animated movie Batman & Harley Quinn. Cuoco joins an impressive voice cast including Lake Bell, Alan Tudyk, Ron Funches, JB Smoove, Jason Alexander, Wanda Sykes, Giancarlo Esposito, Natalie Morales, Jim Rash, Diedrich Bader, Tony Hale, and Chris Meloni!

DC Universe is clearly excited about their streaming service, and their huge presence in the lead up to NYCC was a clear marker of just how happy they are with the shows that they’ll be rolling out over the next year.

Are you as excited for DC Universe and Cuoco’s take on Harley Quinn as they are? Let us know below!
