This 3D Toothbrush Is The Terrifying Future of Oral Hygiene

How long does it take you to brush your teeth? That’s not a question that regularly comes up for anyone who practices good oral hygiene. However, brushing teeth can very easily feel like a monotonous chore. But what if there was a way to brush every tooth within a matter of seconds? Blizzident’s 3D toothbrush comes with the claim that it can clean teeth in six seconds. The video below demonstrates how it works, but it mostly looks like a nightmare.

Via Laughing Squid, the Blizzident 3D toothbrush is shaped like a mouthguard and it is customized from 3D scans of individual clients to fit each mouth exactly and to catch every tooth. Even the placement of the bristles is carefully laid out within the hard plastic shell. Because of that, the Blizzident 3D toothbrush can even reach the places in a mouth that conventional toothbrushes would miss.

The company has also created a 3D Flosser, which should also make it easier to handle one of the more tedious aspects of tooth care.

If the 3D Toothbrush or Flosser sound appealing, you can see a dentist about getting a 3D scan of your mouth and sending the info to Blizzident at their official site. The bad news is that it is not cheap, and it’s an even bigger investment than simply buying an electric toothbrush. But if you’re feeling particularly adventurous with your oral care, then perhaps this is an option for you. We have to admit, a six-second brush time sounds enticing!
