The Justice League will come together in San Diego Comic-Con’s very own Hall of Justice, the vaunted Hall H, for the Warner Bros. panel later today, but in advance of the panel Warner Bros. and DC Comics have released a brand new poster for the film that seemingly draws inspiration from the photorealistic paintings work of Alex Ross. The poster features a stunning photograph of Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Batman (Ben Affleck), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller), and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) giving us their best Blue Steel, as well as the tagline “You can’t save the world alone,” but remixed into a superheroic version of the “Coexist” logo.
The resemblance to Ross’ aesthetic is uncanny, and is an incredibly savvy way to showcase these iconic, larger-than-life heroes in the way that many fans have been waiting to see them. What stands out more than anything are the bright, vibrant colors of the poster, which is perhaps a deliberate marketing movie in response to complaints about the previously dour, dreary palette of pre-Wonder Woman DC Extended Universe entries.
