Josh Holloway and COLONY’s Creators Talk Alien Invasion at New York Comic Con

Reunite Josh Holloway with Lost executive producer Carlton Cuse and writer Ryan Condal, and you have the latest USA Network show hoping to impress us, Colony. Set in a post-alien-invasion Los Angeles, the upcoming series focuses on the fraught human elements of society that would transform in an urban hub after a mysterious alien force has invaded earth and installed a puppet government of fellow humans.

We got a chance to sit down with the very talented, aforementioned creatives and talk about what we can expect from the show, and though they were pretty tight-lipped before the sneak premiere of the pilot at the Hammerstein Ballroom, it sounds like they have a very extensive plan for the ten-episode first season. Though the bulk of the show takes place within the walls of Los Angeles, the scope of the show may open up throughout the season. The three guests joked about shooting Colony: Oahu as an excuse to visit the tropical paradise, but that would actually be rad as hell. We can’t wait for this one.

Colony premieres January 14 on USA.
