JASON BOURNE is Back in These First Clips

In a very brief break in the 2016 wave of superhero flicks, it’s time to re-enter the world of Treadstone with the July 29th release of Jason Bourne. After our hero disappeared following the events of The Bourne Ultimatum,  the new film follows the character’s resurgence and he continues to find the truth about his past while avoiding people who will do anything to prevent him from learning it.

Reported by Heroic Hollywood, here are the first three clips from the movie. The above clip shows Bourne (Matt Damon) racing through Las Vegas with both the police and Vincent Cassel’s character (named “Asset”) in pursuit. It’s very reminiscent of the chase scene from Batman Begins, minus the destruction of every rooftop in the city.

This clip shows Bourne once again evading police, who are chasing both him and Nicky Parsons (Julia Stiles). His vehicle of choice this go-around is a motorcycle.

The final clip shows what seems to be the first interaction between Jason and two of the CIA agents after him, Heather Lee (Alicia Vikander) and CIA Director Robert Dewey (Tommy Lee Jones).

As with the other entries in the Bourne saga, this film continues the tradition of amazing action and suspense. I am hoping for a little less “motion sickness” fighting, though.

Jason Bourne is directed by Paul Greengrass.

So what do you think? Are you excited to see Jason Bourne return? Just how many vehicles can he use to evade capture? Let me know on Twitter or buy a burner phone and post in the comments below.
