It’s Toymageddon in the First Video From 2776

We’ve previously told you about the upcoming all-star comedy album 2776: A Millenium of American Asskickery, a jaunt through the first (and as yet incomplete) millenium of the U.S. of A created by Conan/The Daily Show writer Rob Kutner, The Tonight Show writer Joel Moss Levinson, and Steven Levinson and including participation by Andrew W.K., Will Forte, Patrick Stewart, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, Ira Glass, Eugene Mirman, Martha Plimpton, the Sklar Brothers, Paul F. Tompkins, Yo La Tengo, Maria Bamford, Jonathan Katz, Simon Helberg, Ed Helms, and many more. But now there’s the first single from the album, a appropriate-for-the-season tune performed by Yo La Tengo about the Christmas when the toys came alive. With appearances by Ira Glass and Eugene Mirman, here’s “Toymageddon,” the true story of the Toypocalypse:
