Inked Wednesday #59 – DOCTOR WHO, FINAL FANTASY VII, and More

Most of us love more than one franchise. Once your heart opens to fandom, it’s all but impossible to close the gates and stop new stories from finding their way in. That can present a challenge when you want to wear your fandom on your sleeve in the form of permanent tattoos. You can always mix and match though. Mash-up tattoos are a practical way to combine elements from your favorites. You can work with artists and tattoo artists to come up with a design that’s just right, and you’ll end up with a unique piece of wearable art.

Today’s Inked Wednesday has a few mash-ups. Doctor Who meets Otto and Victoria in the tattoo pictured just below, and the gallery has a Fallout and Ghostbusters combo, Scully and Ripley, and some Nightmare Before Christmas and Kingdom Hearts ink. Look:

Have a geeky tattoo (or tattoos) you’d like to see included in a future edition of Inked Wednesday? Share links to photos of your ink in the comments, tag me on Instagram, or send pics to me on Twitter. Please remember to let me know your tattoo artist’s name.
