Infographic Plots the Marvel Universe’s Deadliest Characters

I, like probably most of you, thoroughly enjoyed binging on Marvel’s Daredevil this past spring. Watching the MCU go in a direction we hadn’t seen from them as of yet was very refreshing. It finally entered the “gritty, violent” arena, and did so very well. Regardless of how much violence Matt Murdock inflicted on the enemies of Hell’s Kitchen, he maintained a no killing policy. He may have to bend the rules to find justice, but murder was a line was never ready to cross.

That being said, the Marvel Universe is in no short supply of characters, both heroic and villainous, that are able to “go that extra mile,” so to speak. Thanks to Morphsuits, we now have a nifty infographic that shows the best of the best (or worst of the worst, depending on your own morals).

The graph categorizes each character into three groups (Dangerous, Deadly, and Lethal) [Editor’s Note: Deadly and Lethal are synonyms in most people’s books, the dictionary and thesaurus included]. Then each character’s kills are separated into Hero, Villains or Neutral. Under “Dangerous,” it makes sense to see Captain America and the Human Torch. They were teammates, and basically soldiers during World War II. AS soldiers, killing was part of the job. It’s also interesting that the majority of the list are mutants. When you have to fight a war against humanity AND your own kind, casualties are a given.

Under “Deadly”, I would have expected Bullseye, Venom, and Black Widow higher up on the list, and Iron Man actually in the Dangerous category, if any at all. It is also noted that he has killed more heroes than villains. Is there a mean streak you aren’t telling us about, Mr. Stark? Everyone else I feel are where they should be. When I look at the three characters in the “Lethal” category, only one thought really comes to mind: “Well, yeah.”

So what say you? Which of these characters surprised you the most? Are there any characters you feel are missing from this list (Elektra)? Are you looking forward to the “Marvel Universe categorized by Netflix shows they binge” infographic? Let me know on Twitter or in the comments below.
