How WONDER WOMAN Made Such Badass Fight Scenes

If we can spoil you on one simple fact about the upcoming Wonder Woman film, let it be this: the fight scenes are some of the most unique and badass we’ve ever seen on the big or small screen. Not only is the Amazonian fighting style its own thing entirely, but the way everything is shot—and the amount of preparation it took the women warriors—truly shines on screen. (Read our review to find out more of our thoughts.)

And it’s not just Wonder Woman herself who gets to battle—though she clearly holds her own not only on the island but in London, Germany, and beyond—both Queen Hippolyta (Connie Nielsen) and General Antiope (Robin Wright) also get in on the Amazonian action with some incredibly cool moments on Themyscira.

I mean, seriously—LOOK AT HOW COOL AND STRONG AND FEROCIOUS THESE WOMEN ARE:

Anyone else seriously re-inspired to hit the gym and become some sort of super-fighting acrobat?

But don’t just take our word for it: hear what the women in front of (and behind!) the screen have to say about the fights. I mean, would you want to make Robin Wright angry by not watching this video?

I didn’t think so.

Wonder Woman hits theaters Friday, June 2. Are you looking forward to it? Let us know in the comments below.
