This weekend is like the Super Bowl of candy eating. Chances are you will consume more candy over the next few days than you have all year. Ever wonder (or worry about) how many calories that is? I think we can do one better, because science. Ever wonder how many calories are in the biggest piece of candy of all time?
In my latest Because Science, I’m breaking down the monstrosity that is the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man of Ghostbusters with some basic math to get all the true caloric value of this mother pus bucket. I went into this episode thinking that the monster would probably contain so many calories that it would be able to feed New York City, after being s’mored by proton beams, for days or more. Turns out I was wrong, and NYC has a voracious appetite.
