Welcome back to Horror Happenings, friends! It was a big week for horror releases including the likes of The Nightmare and Insidious: Chapter 3 while Hannibal made its triumphant season three return to NBC. We’re looking ahead and bringing you the newest trailers that made us cringe in anticipation for their releases. Let’s get to it!
Mark Duplass Is A Real Creep
It’s a simple premise: a videographer answers an ad on Craigslist but the one-day job doesn’t turn out to be what he had anticipated. Creep was directed by Patrick Brice and co-written and stars both Brice and indie producer favorite Mark Duplass. The found footage-style horror flick released its first trailer this week giving audiences something to be scared about. Watch and guess what might be going on beneath the surface in the first official trailer! Creep hits theaters and VOD from BH Tilt this July.
We Are Still Here Looks Like Crazy Fun!
Starring horror icon Barbara Crampton and Andrew Sensenig and from Dark Sky Films (who brought you Cheap Thrills and Starry Eyes) comes the official trailer for We Are Still Here, available on VOD now. The movie, directed by Ted Geoghegan, tells the story of a couple who has just lost their adult son and relocate to a quiet town in New England. When Anne (Crampton) gets the feeling that their son’s spirit is still with them, the grieving parents decide to try and make contact. A mix of comedy and horror and one of the best reviewed films on the festival circuit, check out the newly released official trailer below!
