Heroes Unite in BATMAN/TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES # 3 (Preview)

When it comes to comic book crossovers, Batman is king. The Dark Knight has crossed paths with Spider-Man, Daredevil, Judge Dredd, Danger Girl, Spawn, Aliens, Predator, Hellboy, and the Punisher, among others. But it took over thirty years for Batman to finally meet the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

DC Comics, in collaboration with IDW, are publishing the five-issue Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles miniseries by James T Tynion IV and Freddie E Williams II. In this story, the Turtles have found themselves trapped in a world that isn’t their own: the DC Universe! But they aren’t alone in Gotham City; as Shredder and his Foot Clan have also traveled to this Earth…and they intend to stay.

After the prerequisite misunderstanding between heroes, Batman and the TMNT have joined forces to take down their mutual foes. Even Shredder has found an ally in the Penguin, although Oswald Cobblepot may not like the current terms of his deal.
