Here’s A 16-Bit-Style Interactive Video Version Of “Saved By The Bell”

The Fine Brothers are back with another interactive video “game,” and this one might be of interest to anyone of a certain age who grew up with Zack, Screech, Jessie, Slater, Lisa, and, of course, Kelly Kapowski:

Yup, a Saved by the Bell game, 16-bit style, including three different games and loaded with jokes and references to situations you’ll recall from the original show. You can even get to see Zack and Screech fight Kelly’s boss Jeff over her affections, with a visit from Kevin the Robot and Slater saving the day. Yes, like that. The Fines created the thing with music from Doctor Octoroc. Go check it out and wallow in the nostalgia.

Okay- first off, damn that was really fu*&ing cool. I love that they made a choose-your-own-adventure style story with YouTube videos. Second, what a great mix of early to mid 90’s RPG’s and a tv show with plot lines we all can remember- just an awesome expression of two very unique yet 90’s phenomena fused together.

The fact that this exists has made my life significantly better.
