“Hell Baby” Trailer: Curses ‘n’ Rottweilers

Some of screenwriting superduo Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant’s work has been on the dark side. Well, a lot of it has. The Reno! 911 creators/stars have mixed in the grotesque and macabre with their humor since the days back in The State. However, with their new film, Hell Baby, their first feature film as a writing-directing duo, things get downright scary.

The first trailer shows Rob Corddry and Leslie Bibb moving into a large, dilapidated (and clearly-haunted) house, despite the warnings of a neighbor (Key & Peele‘s Keegan Michael Key). Soon, Bibb stars developing some weird new traits and the ability to speak to Rottweilers, which is actually a pretty decent skill to have, despite the demonic stuff. Lennon and Garant are priests dispatched to rid the family of the horrible curse.

The cast also includes Rob Huebel, Paul Scheer, Riki Lindhome, Kumail Nanjiani, and Michael Ian Black, so you know you’re in good comedic hands. And, from the MPAA rating, it looks like the movie’s going to be full of blood, just what you want from your horror.

Hell Baby comes to iTunes on July 25th.
