The full magical experience of the wizarding world begins with Harry Potterâs first glimpse of Diagon Alley in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Itâs in this shopping area that he encounters mystical stores, fanciful restaurantsâand most importantly, other wizardsâand the readers are right there along with him for the beginning of his journey.
If you can’t spend every weekend at one of the Harry Potter theme parks in Los Angeles or Orlando, the wonder of walking through this wizard wonderland can now stay with you, thanks to these charming street enamel pins by Bunce and Bean.
All the memorable storefronts are represented, from Flourish and Blotts’ bookstore to famous butterbeer peddler, the Leaky Cauldron. Even Knockturn Alley is represented with a dark and mysterious Borgin and Burkes pin.
The windows of the Honeydukes pin are piled high with Bertie Bottâs Every Flavour Beans, pumpkin juice, and those pesky but delicious chocolate frogs. Bunce and Bean take a lot of care to make sure their enamel pins are highly detailed, so every one is like carrying around a tiny piece of art.
But what are pin collectors to do when they donât have enough wearable space for all these accessories? Bunce and Bean have thought of everythingâtheyâve created an invention worthy of Weasleys’ Wizard WheezesâCorkies, little custom-cork magnets. Simply remove the backing from your pin and poke the sharp end into the Corkie, thus turning the enamel pin into a usable magnet. Itâs positively magical!
Check out the Harry Potter street pins in the gallery below, and for more details head to Bunce and Bean’s official shop.
