It’s here, friends. We’re in the final push leading up to the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Could we BE any more excited?! It’s doubtful. In the weeks and months leading up to December 18, we’ve been seeing an influx of nostalgia-fueled memorabilia coming out with the iconic images, scenes, and characters from the original Star Wars on them. And it’s working, if you ask me; I’ve got nothing but visions of X-Wings and Death Stars dancing in me noggin. Now, for a limited time, you can have the entire splendor of A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi in one place…on your wall!
In conjunction with Acme Archives and Bottleneck Gallery, Lucasfilm has officially licensed this piece of art by Grzegorz Domaradzki (GABZ) that has the most indelible characters and moments from all three films, all in one place!
It’s amazing how much he made the three movies mirror each other, from Vader and Luke facing their lightsabers at each other to Death Stars and Millennium Falcons being in opposite corners. Favorite parts? Well, Peter Cushing’s Tarkin looks fantastic, gotta love Boba Fett, and Han Solo’s perfectly capture poop-eating grin from Jedi. All of which will look amazing on anybody’s wall.
The above is the regular edition, which is a 7 color screen print, and there’s a grey variant which is a 6 color screen print. It measures 36 inches across and 24 inches up and down, so it’s a nice, hefty piece of art. Only 225 of the variant are available. The regular sells for $50 while the variant is $65. They’re available via Bottleneck Gallery’s website.
