Gudetama may be the worldâs laziest egg, but even lazy eggs have manners. At Tokyoâs Sanrio Puroland theme park there are live shows and meet and greets, all focused on the lethargic yolk and his always amusing antics. Itâs at Puroland where a guest captured this video of Gudetama cleaning up his area:

Watch as he wobbles around, picks up his egg white bedding, then lazily tosses it into a cracked egg shell. It should be noted that his handy-helper also tosses in a bacon blanket — that’s something that you certainly donât want to leave behind.
Finally, sick of all the exertion, he tumbles face first into the bedding pile and is wheeled away, presumably to an egg carton themed resting area. Havenât we all taken a header into our beds after a long day? I feel you egg, I feel you.
For such a lazy dude, Gudetama keeps quite busy between vomiting and pooping as his doppleganger dim sum and also as a savory magic eight-ball, where he answers your questions online. Hint: He doesnât care about your questions.
Letâs get down to the yolk of this story and that is, why donât we all have bacon blankets? It seems ideal, warm, scented and there for you when you need a snack. We should all channel our inner Gudetama, tidy up, and tumble head first and hide from our problems into a pile of bacon.
What do you think about this self-sufficient egg? Let us know in the comments!
