GRAND THEFT AUTO V to Release This November on PS4, Xbox One, Later On PC

Rockstar Games has finally spilled the beans on the next-gen remastered version of Grand Theft Auto V. The game is set to release on Xbox One and PS4 in nearly two months on November 18, and on the PC on January 27, 2015. Yes, you guys will be getting a version of Grand Theft Auto V and can take the epic sandbox mods from the previous version of GTA to the next level. Here’s a look at the trailer Rockstar released alongside their announcement: The remastered version will include new weapons, vehicles, activities, tons of graphical touch-ups ranging from the environment to the weather effects, and over 100 additional new songs and DJ mixes for when you’re cruising around Los Santos running over NPC pedestrians who get in your way. You’ll also be able to import your PS3 and/or 360 characters up to the remastered version of the game as well, which is definitely a step beyond losing your character progression– a huge issue with Grand Theft Auto Online when it launched previously. A little under a year from Destiny‘s $500 million shipping success, Grand Theft Auto V was setting historic sales figures of its own, selling $800 million in one day on the PS3 and PS4. Some suggested that the game’s sales would be crippled due to the release of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, both of which released the following November. But things have clearly worked out in the long run for Rockstar, and the remastered versions will surely catch the eye of many with all of the enhancements being made to the game. Though, I’m still lamenting over the fact that the game still has not implemented the promised heist missions into Grand Theft Auto Online. Seriously, what’s the hold up R*? [HT: Take-Two]
