GRAND THEFT AUTO V Mod Lets You Wreck Things as IRON MAN

For years, we’ve seen Tony Stark save lives, the world, etc., all the while exuding sarcasm and arrogance. He’s one of the smartest people in the world AND a superhero. He’s earned that right. However, he’s never taken that arrogance and crossed the line to just flat-out evil.

YouTube channel GTA X Scripting has decided to find out just what would happen if that were to occur. They modded the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V, and inserted Iron Man into the game. The result is full of rage and destruction that fits the thirds act of both Avengers movies would be proud of.

The above video shows all the chaos in its full glory. It begins with Iron Man just walking the streets as if nothing is wrong. Nearby gawkers throw insults at his suit (none of which I will repeat here), and apparently one of them pushes the wrong button, as Iron Man begins swatting cars left and right with reckless abandon.

This brings about the police in a futile attempt to stop the Armored Avenger. His repulsor and uni-beam quickly put an end to that. That was my favorite part of the video, because GTA X scripting made sure to include the repulsor beam sounds when he fired them. The video ends with Iron Man flying over the Los Angeles skyline, only to get into once last skirmish with a helicopter.

So to answer the question as to what would happen if Iron Man DID go rogue? For Grand Theft Auto fans, a fun new way to wreck everything in sight.

You can check out more of GTA X Scripting’s videos on their YouTube channel here.

So what do you think? What other Avengers would you like to see modded in GTA? Let me know on Twitter or in the comments below.
