20th Century Fox and Dreamworks have released Almost Home, an animated short in advance of their full-length feature Home, out this Fall. A group of aliens are on the hunt for a safe place to call home, but the universe is full of alien monsters and lava planets and unpredictable gravity fields: a scary place.

Starring Steve Martin as Captain Smek and featuring Jim Parsons, Jennifer Lopez, and Rihanna, Home looks like it could be pretty great. Check out the short here:
