GeekNation Shares Motion Posters, a/k/a Mosters

A great movie poster can, with one simple image, visually represent the entire feature film. It’s almost like they’re moving themselves, don’t you think? Well, friends, this brilliant premise I’ve set up is exactly what GeekNation has been doing to some of the best movie posters of all time for something they’re calling “Mosters,” the portmanteau word for “Motion Posters.”

Movies like Jaws, Hostel II, Saw IV, and Planet Terror are among the evocative posters that get motioned. Below, I’ve picked two of my favorites surrounding the similar theme of space.

Pretty darned cool, eh? To see the rest of the Mosters, head over to GeekNation.

    I have one word …….AWESOME !!!

  2. The Gravity one is really, really great. Works as a perfect enhancement of traditional movie posters by pulling you into the suspense.
The Star Wars on the other hand plays on nostalgia alone and thusly leaves me pretty cold.

Love. I got chills again from the Gravity. I love SB.
