Gaming Daily: Watch This Guy Play Half-Life…Upside Down!

Although we started off with the disappointing news this morning that The Legend of Zelda Netflix series may not come to pass and that Batman: Arkham Knight was getting delayed, not all the news from the day was so glum. Since we know you’re probably bummed right about now, we’re here to cheer you up with some happier reports. In today’s Gaming Daily: some guy decided to play Half-Life upside down, Batman: Arkham City and Batman: Arkham Asylum are supposedly getting HD remasters for the PS4 and Xbox One, and Bioware has teased the first expansion DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition.

This YouTuber successfully played Half-Life upside down.

So…you spend a serious amount of time doing speedy “Lets Plays” of the Half-Life series, but it doesn’t look like a new game is ever coming out. What do you do? Well, popular YouTube user and Half-Life veteran Quadrizid has the answer. Why not play the game upside down and see what happens.

I guess taking a new perspective on things is pretty fun. The video, which is a whopping 33 minutes, takes Gordon through Black Mesa labs on the ceiling of the building. The guy does a pretty good job at navigating his way through the labs relatively quickly. Things however start to take a pretty chaotic turn once the head crabs show up–though they do appear easier to attack.

There’s no telling how things will go once Quadrizid makes it outside. Our guess is not good.

ARKHAM-CITY-03232015

Rumors circulating of Arkham Asylum, and Arkham City HD Remaster

In other Arkham-related news, rumors hit the web earlier this morning that Rocksteady’s past two Batman games, Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City are expected to get remastered versions for the PS4 and Xbox One. These reports come courtesy of IGN Italy who claims that the two titles will hit current gen consoles once the holiday season rolls around.

When questioned about the potential releases, Warner Bros. declined to confirm any information. Considering the fact that Batman: Arkham Knight–which is coming June 23, 2015–is the finale to the series, it isn’t too surprising of a move for WB to make. It will be interesting if we get an announcement soon.

DRAGON-AGE-INQUISITION-DLC-03232015

First Dragon Age: Inquistion expansion teased by developer.

Alright Inquisitors, this one is for you. The first expansion for Bioware’s hit RPG Dragon Age: Inquisition has finally been revealed. According to a twitter post, the DLC pack is called Jaws of Hakkon and is set to release on the Xbox One and PC first, with the PS4 version coming some time in the future.

This isn’t the first downloadable content released for the title. EA, the publisher of the game, has already released the Destruction and the Deluxe Upgrade which added new paths, weapons and armor to the game.

As of right now, there is no information on the pack, but according to reports across the web, we’ll be getting an official trailer for the DLC tomorrw. So, stick around on our site tomorrow for news once it hits.
