Gaming Daily: London Is Sitting On Secret Stash 20th Anniversary PS4 Consoles

It’s tuesday, folks, and I’ve somehow survived posting a video on the internet about the console war. In today’s Gaming Daily, London gets a nice stash of 20th anniversary PS4 consoles, we check out Sony’s new PS4 offer, and take a look at how the Xbox One’s Twitch application will be changing. Let’s do dis!

There’s a hidden stash of 20th anniversary PS4’s in London.

If there ever was a time I’d want to be living in the UK, it’d be right this moment. That’s because according to an earlier report from Polygon, London is sitting on a nice stash of 20th anniversary PlayStation 4 consoles. PlayStation UK will be opening a pop-up store tomorrow, and selling 94 of them for the extremely low price of £19.94. What!

Then on December 11 and 12, they’ll be selling the “original grey” consoles at full retail price, in quantities of 50 per day. They’ll also be available online those two days for those who can’t make it down to the store. Here’s a video giving a little more insight on how this all will work:

These things extremely rare, and going for lots of money on ebay, so this is pretty much a steal for anyone who’s able to make it. Alright, now who wants to buy my red eye flight to London for me?

PS4bundle

PlayStation 4 bundled with free game for the holidays.

Sony Computer Entertainment is getting in on the holiday season deals, now offering a choice of several AAA titles with the purchase of every PS4. The offer will last through the holidays and will include any of the following games: Destiny, Far Cry 4, NBA 2K15 and LittleBigPlanet 3. You’ll be able to redeem your free game via the digital voucher that’s to be included with your purchase of the 500 gig retail version of the console.

While this isn’t quite as attractive as the Xbox One’s $349 holiday price point, you have to admit, this is much better than last year’s out-of-stock woes that the PS4 had. Make sure to hop on this before the offer expires later this month.

Xbox One Twitch app gets useful update.

One of the beauties of Twitch is being able to archive live broadcast and revisit them in the future without much of a hassle. The archived content, however, has been inaccessible on the Xbox One Twitch app– at least up until today. Twitch announced earlier that they’ll be gradually rolling archived content into the Xbox One app in their next update, deeming it as “video on demand.”

Today’s update also comes with a host of other features as well, including the ability to filter certain streamers based on the game they are playing, as well as pinning channels to the front page of the app. Basically: you can now pin our twitch channel to the front page of your Twitch app on the Xbox One. Isn’t that just totally awesome?
