In today’s Gaming Daily: Halo 5 might be headed to PC, our own Malik Forté explained what you missed by not playing Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Sony is reportedly not working on any first-party Vita games, we published our review on The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes, and some Destiny fireteam beat the “King’s Fall” raid on the hardest difficulty in under 90 minutes.

Halo 5 Warzone

Halo 5: Guardians could be headed to PC.

Those that have yet to purchase an Xbox One may be in luck. Halo franchise development director Frank O’Connor said there’s a chance that Halo 5: Guardians might eventually hit PCs. It’s not certain, but hey, there’s a chance!

“Microsoft has made a huge commitment to normalize the Windows experience across multiple platforms,” said O’Conner. “You’ve seen the elements of Windows 10 are going to appear on the Xbox, with Cortana and stuff like that. There is plenty of chance that Halo 5 could be on PC. Nothing to announce at this point, but it’s absolutely not outside the bounds of reason.”

This makes a whole lot of sense, with Microsoft continually attempting to merge the Xbox One and PC ecosystems. You have to wonder if this could hurt the Xbox One’s sales in the long run. Don’t get me wrong, this won’t be hurting anyone’s bottom line anytime soon, but there could be a day where the two platforms are indistinguishable. Great news for the mouse and keyboard warriors.

Halo 5 finally hits retailers this upcoming Tuesday. You can expect our review around that time as well.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate Miracle of Sound

What you missed by not playing Assassin’s Creed Unity.

It’s no secret that Assassin’s Creed: Unity was a hot mess when it released. Plagued by a multitude of glitches, many opted not to even bother with this installment, and with good reason. So, what if you want to play AC: Syndicate, should you go back and finish up Unity? Nope! It won’t be necessary, because our very own Malik Forté has you covered in the latest What You Missed By Not Playing video. Watch the clip here in preparation for Syndicate. Warning: he spoils everything.

PS Vita

Sony is reportedly not working on any first-party Vita games.

A report from Japanese outlet 4Gamer says Sony’s Executive Vice President Masayasu Ito has confirmed that the PS Vita will no longer be getting new fist-party games. “Currently, there are no first party titles that are in development for the PlayStation Vita,” said Ito (translated by Siliconera).

Any Vita devotee like myself knows this isn’t breaking-news. Though I love that little handheld, I know not to expect any games coming from their own developers. I wasn’t expecting that to change. So, having it confirmed once again is really not shocking at all. It’s a shame, the Vita is a fantastic handheld that Sony seemingly abandoned over night. It really didn’t have a fair chance to be successful with the inflated memory card prices.

The-Legend-of-Zelda-Tri-Force-Heroes-6-10232015

Game Review– The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes.

I had the pleasure of reviewing The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, and for the most part, I liked it. It’s not much of a LoZ experience, but the co-op emphasis is fun in the right situation. There are some flaws for sure, including the lack of voice-chat when playing online. You can read the review here.

Destiny the Taken King

Destiny‘s ‘King’s Fall’ raid beaten on hardest difficulty in less than 90 minutes.

The new Hard mode for Destiny: The Taken King‘s raid opened up today and was quickly conquered. Clan Forever LivE not only completed the feat first, but managed to do it in under 90 minutes.

Yeah, this is extremely impressive. I’ve dabbled a bit in the raid, but have only been able to get about half-way through. I plan on mending that very soon. Before trying to take on Hard mode, it’s recommended that you at least hit light level 300. If you do want to go through with it, make sure your whole team is prepared for Destiny’s most difficult challenge. With rewards being between 300-320 light, it may be a worthy endeavor.

That’s it for the week, folks. Make sure to tune in tomorrow for our Extra-Life stream. It’s going to be a whole lot of fun, and it’s for a good cause. What do you think about Tri Force Heroes? Are you enjoying it so far? Let us know in the comments below.
