See How GAME OF THRONES Resurrected Viserion (EXCLUSIVE)

Editor’s Note: this post contains spoilers from season seven of Game of Thrones — don’t say we didn’t warn ya! (‘Cuz we did. Just now.)

Admit it: even though it was devastating to see one of Dany’s children die, it was super cool to see Viserion go from regular dragon to a full-on-icyboi at the end of the penultimate episode, “Beyond the Wall.” As soon as he was taken down, we knew it would only spell trouble for The Realm—frankly, I think we all knew, deep down, that one of Dany’s dragons would go to the dark side, as The Wall falling (and rumors of Ice Dragons hidden inside it) has always been telegraphed throughout George R.R. Martin’s source material and the HBO show.

But how do you make sure the moment it all happens is as badass as it could possibly be? That’s where our latest exclusive clip from The Game Revealed comes in.

With the Night King dead set (har har har) on bringing down The Wall and, it seems, taking over the Realm with his newly minted Ice Dragon, the moment really brought the stakes of The Wars to Come into the fore.

But that’s not all that’s featured in the episode. As evidenced by the clip, there’s also talk of how they brought the army of dead to life, that crazy zombie polar bear attack, and so much more, thanks to interviews with VFX supervisor Steve Kullback, stunt coordinator Rowley Irlam, producer Christopher Newman, and art director Deborah Riley, as well as director Alan Taylor and actors Rory McCann (The Hound), Kristofer Hivju (Tormund Giantsbane), Kit Harington (Jon Snow), and Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen).

Needless to say, The Game Revealed is the cure for what ails ya—that ailment being the Game of Thrones off-season. Are you watching? Let us know in the comments below! And check out the full episode here!
