GAME OF THRONES Shares Bloopers at Comic-Con Panel

For a show that has become as tonally dark as the worst winter in the history of the Seven Kingdoms, Game of Thrones lighter moments of comedic relief are as life-giving as the R’hllor, the Lord of Light. Knowing full well that Comic-Con attendees are rabid for any new information about or footage from Westeros after the most epically grim and gripping season finale to date, HBO graced fans with the funniest supercut in the history of the show, and it’s a breath of fresh air.

Below you can peep an entire blooper reel from season six, featuring Peter Dinklage messing up the word “benevolent” a thousand times, Kit Harington covering up his junk before he reanimates, Rory McCann (the Hound) struggling to chop wood with an ax, and Emilia Clarke seriously butchering the Dothraki language. It is an incredibly lighthearted look at the moments from Thrones that are otherwise anxiety inducing and tense. Sure, we rely on Tyrion for these moments in the show, but that is what makes his IRL bloopers that much funnier.

During the panel, HBO also released a beautiful behind-the-scenes look at the sets and props that are evidently from the forthcoming seventh season. We see hands cutting and smoothing wooden props, sharpening metal swords, and setting up complex sets. The biggest tease from the video comes when we see the script from the upcoming season finale being dropped on a desk in front of us. So close but so far away! Just let us read one page, David and DB! Come on dudes, we can’t wait until next summer to find out what happens to the inhabitants (living and dead) of the realm.
