If you’re an avid listener to, or watcher of, Comedy Bang! Bang!, you know that host Scott Aukerman has a lot of fun playing the straight man of sorts to Paul F. Tompkins and his various characters, including Andrew Lloyd Webber, Cake Boss, etc.
When the tables are turned on Tompkins’ one-on-one interview series Speakeasy, the dynamic only changes a little; Aukerman still opts for something more silly than a typical interview. Thus, Tompkins and Aukerman playfully derail the interview several times, while also discussing Scott’s career and working on the legendary Mr. Show.
