Everything You Missed in the GAME OF THRONES Comic-Con Trailer

Chaos is a ladder, and on Friday that ladder led directly to Hall H of San Diego Comic-Con where the cast and creators of HBO’s Game of Thrones assembled before thousands of screaming fans to tease what’s coming down the pipeline for season 7 of the mega-popular TV series.

The show, which is known for its sprawling ensemble cast, brought a small army with them, including John Bradley, Nathalie Emmanuel, Liam Cunningham, Sophie Turner, Jacob Anderson, Conleth Hill, Alfie Allen, Gwendoline Christie, and Isaac Hempstead-Wright. Longtime fans were delighted to discover that actor Kristian Nairn, who played the gentle giant Hodor on the fantasy series, would be moderating the panel.

They were even more delighted when Alfie Allen revealed that Theon Greyjoy has a direwolf of his very own…by which we mean that Alfie Allen brought his adorable puppy to the panel. Future Hall H panelists, take note: if you have an adorable dog, please bring it.

In addition to fielding questions about fan favorite romantic pairings like Tormund Giantsbane and Brienne of Tarth, the cast revealed a brand new trailer for what lies ahead in season 7 of GoT. The epic trailer revealed juicy new details about the war that’s brewing in Westeros, the threats lurking beyond the wall, and teased some particularly auspicious meetings between characters that we have been dying to see cross paths (Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen, anyone?). But what does it all mean for the season ahead? What tiny details did you miss in this season 7 trailer? Join our very own Red Woman, Jessica Chobot, as she looks into the flames to see what the Lord of Light has planned for us on a special Comic-Con edition of Nerdist News.

What was your favorite part of this new Game of Thrones trailer? What do you think will be happen? Let’s discuss in the comments below.
