A Lot of GAME OF THRONES’ Dead and Undead Sing “I Will Survive”

It takes all the strength Westeros has not to fall apart — but mending the pieces of this broken land has no doubt caused a death or two amongst the players on HBO’s Game of Thrones. Still, death doesn’t take away from the tenacity of its heroes, and to that end, everyone’s favorite (or least favorite) would-be Realm controllers are getting downright musical about it in a silly new mash-up video from the Sung By Movies gang, featuring the rulers and other bit players singing the Gloria Gaynor disco classic, “I Will Survive.”

Using footage from the first six seasons of the HBO adaptation of the A Song of Ice and Fire series, some of our long-forgotten (and not-so-forgotten) favorites sing—fairly ironically—about how they’re going to survive this war despite all the people pulling them down.

(Naturally: there’s something seriously delicious about seeing the young prick king, Joffrey, crooning about survival and immediately conjuring to mind his horrific death.)

The video also features tons of footage of the “currently still alive” contingency, including Dany, Jon Snow, Arya, Cersei, Jaime, and Sansa. But, again, we all know they won’t all be alive for long (we’re looking at you especially, Cersei), so there’s a bit of weird anxiety in watching it all play out.

Of course, it could be worse ahem…

Who do you think will end the game alive on Thrones? Let us know in the comments below!
