Gal Gadot Is Playing a Racecar Driver in WRECK-IT RALPH 2

This fall, Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph is going online in Ralph Breaks the Internet. And while the Disney Princess crossover scenes are getting a lot of attention, there will be plenty of original characters added to the movie. Now a princess of another order—Wonder Woman herself, Gal Gadot—has revealed that she is playing a supporting role in Ralph Breaks the Internet. Gadot also posted a short video of her character, Shank, as she encounters Ralph and Vanellope during the movie.

According to Disney, Shank is a street racer in Slaughter Race, an online racing game. The description hints that Shank’s role will be more than just a cameo as she races Vanellope and then develops a big sister-like relationship with her.

“Shank is amazing at driving cars and has this bad-girl vibe to her,” shared Gadot in a statement. “But as the movie goes on you realize how fun, wise and warm she really is on the inside, which is what I like most about her.”

Within the movie, Vanellope and Ralph will literally hit the ‘net in order to locate a part needed to fix Vanellope’s arcade game, Sugar Rush. Disney’s announcement also teased that Shank’s experiences will “[open] Vanellope’s eyes to the limitless possibilities of the internet and the excitement of a new world that feels like home.”

Ralph Breaks the Internet will crash into theaters on November 21.
