Games Done Quick Charity Stream of God of War begins this Friday.

If you didn’t know already, this Sunday marks the tenth anniversary of the God of War franchise. Doesn’t that make you feel old? In celebration of the anniversary, Sony Santa Monica Studios is teaming up with Awesome Games Done Quick to help raise money for the AbleGamers Foundation. The stream will begin at 10 AM PST on Friday, March 20th on the PlayStation Twitch channel.

The stream will feature some of the globe’s best God of War speedrunners who will be attempting to finish God of War 1, 2, and 3 in five hours or less. If you’ve ever played any of these games, you’ll know just how impressive that is.

As for the foundation, if you aren’t in the know, the AbleGamers foundation is a nonprofit organization that helps make videogames more accessible to people with disabilities. According to the charity’s website, they’ve raised over $113,127.00 in 2015 alone.

Secret Final Fantasy Type-0 video possibly teases sequel.

Although Final Fantasy Type-0 doesn’t come out until tomorrow, YouTube user Khaled Rizk has already uploaded a super secret video from the upcoming title to his channel. His video, which breaks the game’s embargo, shows a dying character being revived by a fiery spirit.

As the samurai lay dying in a bloody mess, mysterious arms wrap around his body and he springs from the building and lands on the ground amidst a fiery inferno. After his rebirth, the character remarks, “we have arrived”. Although we do not know how this is unlocked in the game, or where exactly it is, it is still interesting to look at.

According to reports, trademarks have already been filed for Type-1, Type-2, and Type-3, so it wouldn’t be surprising if this video is actually hinting at the next title.

Online multiplayer is free this weekend for PS4.

With Battlefield Hardline out tomorrow, and a ton of other online games to play lately, Sony has seized the opportunity to draw people in by making online experiences completely free this weekend. Yep, that’s right. You won’t need a PlayStation Plus subscription to get  your game on.

The free weekend will run from this Friday at 12:01 AM PST to Sunday evening at 11:59 PM PST. This is the perfect opportunity to see whether a PS+ subscription is even for you. It also gives you a chance to try out the online multiplayer in Battlefield Hardline and maybe even get some heisting done in Grand Theft Auto’s brand new Online Heist mode.

That’s it for today everybody. Keep Nerdist tabbed for all your upcoming gaming related news, reviews and features.
