Funko Reveals New STAR WARS Galactic Plushies and ROGUE ONE Pops!

As we all gather round the warm glow of the internet and celebrate Star Wars Day, just as our ancestors did before us, the good folks at Funko have revealed to us two all-new waves of Star Wars toys coming to our galaxy this summer. Each and every one of these adorable figures will add a touch of that galaxy far, far away to your desk at work, your shelves at home, or wherever you choose to have them hang their lightsabers.

First up, we’ve got a second wave of the Star Wars Galactic Plushies, this time featuring 7-8″ plush versions of Wicket the Ewok, R2-D2, Yoda, Luke Skywalker in his A New Hope Tatooine look, and a classic Imperial Storm Trooper. These new squishy and adorable toys join a lineup that already includes Han Solo, Chewie, Threepio, Darth Vader, and Boba Fett. From The Force Awakens, we already have Rey, Finn, Kylo Ren, BB-8, Maz Kanata and a First Order Storm Trooper. Hopefully, joining them at some point in the future we’ll get an Obi-Wan, a Lando, and a Poe Dameron. Wave 2 of the classic Star Wars Plushies hits in July.

And coming this August, Funko is adding a new wave to their Rogue One Pop! line, featuring  the father-daughter pair of Galen Erso and Young Jyn Erso (with her little stormtrooper doll), the cool looking alien rebel Weeteef Cyubee, and finally, a Death Star Droid. Soon, you’ll be able to own these adorable little versions of these beloved characters who all die horrible deaths by the end of their movie debut. Well, except the Death Star droid, he gets a reprieve until the events of A New Hope, where he is then presumably blown up real good.

You can see individual images of the new Star Wars Galactic Plushies and the Pops! in our gallery down below.
