Funko Makes ALIEN, PREDATOR, STAR TREK, and TRON Baddies Cuter Than Ever

As if the fine folks at Funko didn’t already have the adorable market completely cornered with their Pop! vinyl figures, somehow their Dorbz line is even cuter. (Or should I say more adorbzable?) They know how to make even the most terrifying creatures ever to inhabit our pop culture landscape into things you just want to hug and squeeze and pet. The latest examples are new Dorbz versions of two of the most nightmare inducing alien creatures in film history: the xenomorph from Alien, and the intergalactic big game hunter from Predator.

The Predator comes in a regular version, as well as a clear “camo” version available only at Toys “R” Us stores. The xenomorph from Alien also comes in two versions, one all black and smooth (pre-dinner), and one with blood splattered all over it (after dinner). As another Toys ‘R” Us exclusive, you’ll be able to buy the Alien face hugger attached to a poor, unfortunate human who is about to have the worst indigestion ever.

Some Disney sci-fi icons are also getting the Dorbz treatment soon as well, as Tron is joining the fold alongside Sark, the original TRON film’s baddie. The Tron figure will have a glow-in-the-dark 1-in-6 variant. Another Disney cult classic coming to the Dorbz line is The Rocketeer. He’ll be coming in both a color and a black and white version, which will also be a 1-in-6 chase variant.

Of course, if we are talking classic sci-fi, that conversation has got to include Star Trek. The original human/Vulcan hybrid Mr. Spock is getting his own Dorbz as well, in both his regular 1960s era Enterprise crew uniform, and his evil alternate universe self from the classic episode “Mirror, Mirror.” All of these latest additions to the Dorbz line are hitting stores this November.

You can check out images of all the new Dorbz hitting stores in November in our gallery below.

Are you excited to add these sci-fi icons to your Funko shelf? Be sure to let us know down below in the comments.
