Friday’s Official SDCC Schedule Includes THE WALKING DEAD, GAME OF THRONES, ARROW, and MORE

Hark, fellow nerds, and tremble before the might of Comic Con International‘s Friday schedule! Things always heat up on the second day of the ‘Con, and this year is no exception – with major panels from some of TV’s biggest franchises and the debut of a brand new one from a studio you just may have heard of (hint: their name rhymes with Farvel). Speaking without hyperbole: if you love TV, Friday, July 25th might just be the best day of your whole, entire life.

But before we get into the nitty TV gritty, let’s take a look at two major Friday events: the Nerdist Cosplay Panel and the Nerdist Games Panel! Get ready to learn all about the world of cosplay and Nerdist’s plans for cosplay coverage with your moderator Johnny Wickham from 6:30pm to 7:30pm in room 24ABC, then stick around from 7:30pm to 8:30pm for a gaming fix with Nerdist games editor Malik Forte! It’s gonna be two solid hours of awesome, and you won’t want to miss it.

Moving on, we’ve got some major superhero TV hitting the airwaves over the next few months, and you’ll learn all about it if you hit up the Marvel Television Presents… and Arrow panels! Marvel’s holed up in Ballroom 20 starting at 3:00pm, where Jeph Loeb will be previewing the next season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as well as upcoming Captain America spin-off Agent Carter with the casts of both shows. Then at 5:30pm, the cast of Arrow‘s dropping in to recap the season two’s explosive finale and look into the Malcolm Merlyn-haunted future of season three!

And if you don’t like your heroes super, you can head on over to Hall H, where The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones will inevitably be breaking the hearts of every fan in the room. For zombie action, get in by 12:20pm for the Walking Dead panel, where you can be sure to catch a look at season 5, as well as a cast and crew Q&A hosted by our fearless leader Chris Hardwick. Then at 1:40pm, the creators and stars of Game of Thrones will fly in for…well, we don’t know yet – but you can bet you’ll have the chance to ask questions like “why did you kill [REDACTED]?!” and “seriously why did you have to kill [REDACTED]?!”

Friday’s looking awesome, and we’ve still got two more days to preview – so be sure to keep checking Nerdist.com for the latest Comic Con International updates.
