FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S: SISTER LOCATION Scares up a Teaser

By the time the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise is done, it will probably be more lucrative than the actual Chuck E. Cheese chain. Because what kid wants to be a kid, when they can feel all grown-up by playing games that scare the hell out of them?

“Sister Location” can mean many things. Was there another branch of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza? (Maybe.) Is there now an evil girl animatronic? (Definitely yes.) Are all the animatronics in some sort of underground bunker waiting to come back to life? (Looks like it.) Is somebody missing a sister and needing to locate her? (Seems like a pun too obvious to resist.)

What is clear is that the game series that proved to the world you CAN make the simple act of closing doors and turning on lights fun and suspenseful…is back. And in the words of Dee Snider, this looks like one twisted Sister. But we are gonna take it…just as soon as it comes out and we can bring it home.

Like the creepy voice says, “Don’t hold it against us. You don’t know what we’ve been through.”

Is it time for another five nights? Can the movie adaptation hurry up and get here already? Is an actual tie-in restaurant next, and if it were, would you go? How do you like the more humanoid animatronics in this one, compared to the “goofy critters gone bad” vibe of the original characters?
