A Playlist of Our Most Anticipated Firefly Festival Bands

Good news, everyone: Nerdist is going to be at the Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Delaware this year! It won’t just be us, though, as a lot of great acts are on the bill: Blink-182, Kings of Leon, Ellie Goulding, Tame Impala, CHVRCHES, Death Cab For Cutie, Mumford & Sons, and so many other amazing artists are getting ready to rock the festival’s various stages.

While there are plenty of household names that will make the trip worthwhile, there are also a bunch of not-as-gigantic acts that we’re very excited to see live: Up-and-comers like St. Lucia and Civil Twilight have us filled with anticipation, and Swim Deep is the best band from England you may not have heard of.

There’s plenty of supreme talent beyond the artists we just mentioned, and there’s a lot more we’re looking forward to, a lot of groups that have us more excited to be in Delaware than Wayne and Garth were. To get you guys amped about what this weekend has in store, we went ahead and made a playlist of just a few of the acts we don’t want to miss, and it includes everything from M83 to Vince Staples to Florence + The Machine.

Check out the playlist below (or here), and if you’re going, let us know in the comments who you’re most excited to see. Be sure to check in with us as well, as we’ll have more exciting Firefly content as the weekend gets going.
