Finally, the WONDER WOMAN Coloring Book We’ve Always Needed

Finally, the WONDER WOMAN Coloring Book We’ve Always Needed

2016 has been quite a year for Wonder Woman. Not only is it the Amazing Amazon’s 75th anniversary this year, but she finally made her long-awaited big screen debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, with almost everyone agreeing that Gal Gadot’s brief moment in that film was easily the highlight. Then the trailer for Wonder Woman’s own movie owned the conversation after Comic-Con, and her DC Rebirth title from Greg Rucka, Nicola Scott, and Liam Sharp has been among the best titles from that whole initiative. And Wonder Woman has been front and center of the whole DC Superhero Girls toy line, finally giving little girls options at the toy aisle that aren’t just “princess” and “Barbie.”

As part of the ongoing celebration of Wonder Woman’s 75th, Insight Editions has announced next month they will release an adult coloring book devoted to images of Princess Diana of the Amazons, with black and white pages ready to be colored in from some of Wonder Woman’s most well known comic book illustrators. Among these artists are Ed Benes (who illustrates Diana among her Justice League companions), renowned ’80s illustrator José Luis García-López, and many, many more. The cover features a classic Wonder Woman image from artists Terry and Rachel Dodson.

According to the official press release, “this stunning adult coloring book is filled with ready-to-color illustrations of one of DCs’ most iconic characters. From the bright red and blue of Wonder Woman’s costume to the rich greens and yellows of her homeland, Themyscira, the heraldry of this Amazonian Super Hero is yours to design and color. Featuring many of the greatest artists in DC history and their interpretations of Wonder Woman’s memorable adventures, this incredible coloring book offers hours of creative fun and relaxation.”

The Wonder Woman Coloring Book will be available everywhere on October 18th. In the meantime, be sure to check out some preview images in our gallery below.
