Fantastic News! Elijah Wood’s SpectreVision To Give Keynote at Fantastic Fest

Can’t wait for Fantastic Fest, genre nerds? Well now you’ve got one more reason to be excited: it was just announced that SpectreVision will not only be giving the opening keynote but they will also be premiering the world premiere of their newest ‘SpectreVision Presents’ title, Belladonna of Sadness.

Daniel Noah, Josh C. Waller, and Elijah Wood, partners and co-founders of SpectreVision, will give the keynote address opening the festival on September 24, 2015. The partners will discuss various aspects of their company including its origins, how they handle development of their films, as well as production and financing. The team will also delve into their music division, which is, without a doubt, a fan favorite.

No stranger to Austin or Fantastic Fest, SpectreVision co-founder Elijah Wood expressed his enthusiasm for the fest, saying, “It is an honor to be invited as special guests of the Mercado Fantastico. A growing market within the greatest film festival in the world, that fosters new and emerging films and filmmakers. We are soul mates!”

Yorgos Lanthimos’ The Lobster will make its US premiere there and Ridley Scott’s much anticipated The Martian will debut as well. The Sundance hit The Witch will make an appearance as well. Westerns The Keeping Room and Bone Tomahawk will screen and Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn will celebrate the release of his new book Nicolas Winding Refn: The Act of Seeing with a special Mondo Gallery event.
