Fan Art Friday #63 – THE FORCE AWAKENS Villain Kylo Ren

We’re continuing our look at Star Wars: The Force Awakens this month with our weekly installments of Fan Art Friday. So far, we’ve featured Rey and Poe Dameron, but now it’s time to jump to the Dark Side. We’ll finish what we started. Kylo Ren showed himself to be a dangerous villain. He’s unpredictable and temperamental, and he doesn’t take bad news so well. He’s also incredibly strong with the Force.

Think about it. Anyone else who took a blow from Chewbacca’s bowcaster in the film was knocked off their feet. Chewie may have intentionally avoided hitting Ren with a fatal shot, but a gut wound would have been a crippling injury for most people. But Ren got up, made it outside in an incredibly short amount of time, and mostly held his own in a lightsaber battle. I wouldn’t want to take him on when he’s at his full strength.

His emotional range is more formidable to me than his skill with the Force, though. Then there’s his hair. It’s conditioned and stronger than anything. Look:
