FALLOUT 4 Mod Support Comes to PC In April, Consoles Later

Are you tired if building elaborate settlements filled with power armors in Fallout 4? Is running around saving settlements starting to lose its luster? Are you finally over starting massive battles between synths and Deathclaws? Well, probably not, but if you are, mod support is coming in a couple of months!

Bethesda has announced that mod support is coming to the PC version of the post-apocalyptic wasteland of Fallout 4 as early as April. When Todd Howard confirmed the news to Game Informer, he also mentioned that Xbox One owners would have to wait a month after the mouse and keyboards players to get the mod support, while PS4 owners will have to wait an additional month after that.

“We want to get it up on PC and have it work,” Howard said. “It’ll go up at that time on PC. In April. All of that stuff will go up on PC.”

Survival Mode is also something PC players will be able to test out soon. According to Howard, the new mode changes the gameplay so much that it might take a bit of time to complete, but it is indeed coming. Also, don’t forget that the first piece of DLC, Automatron, is set to launch next month, with the Wasteland Workshop content releasing in April.

Well, an already massive game is about to get even bigger.

What do you guys think about this launch timeline? Will you be playing all of the content that’s on the way for the title? Which console are you playing on? Does waiting upwards of two months after the PC version gets mods make you regret purchasing the console version? Let us know in the comments below!
