EXCLUSIVE Premiere: “A Simple Walk Into Mordor” Ep. 5: The Ring Is Found

You’ll recall that last December, we premiered the third episode of Rooster Teeth’s A Simple Walk Into Mordor, in which Rooster Teeth’s Kerry Shawcross and Chris Demarais, celebrating the release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, walked for six days and over 120 miles across New Zealand from Hobbiton (Matamata) to Mount Doom (Mount Ngauruhoe) to prove that you can indeed “simply walk into Mordor.” It wasn’t easy, but it was highly entertaining.

Today, the guys are back with a special follow-up episode, and Nerdist is proud to have the exclusive premiere right here, right now. If you watched the series, at the end of the last episode, the guys buried the right at the foot of Mount Doom and issued a challenge to fans to find it. Now, Kerry and Chris are back to talk about the aftermath of their walk (it wasn’t pretty), enjoy some of the comments posted on the videos, and talk to the people who dug up that ring. And they offer tips for those of you who want to follow in their blistered footsteps. Herewith, then, Episode 5 of A Simple Walk Into Mordor.

Oh, one thing: You’ll get some truly nightmare-inducing time lapse shots of their feet. Yeesh. But it’s quick, so you can handle it.

Wanna catch up on the series? All of the episodes, along with this one later today, are at RoosterTeeth.com and Blip.com. (You can watch the new one first and not really lose anything, but do watch ’em all)
