Exclusive: DC Comics Unveils 10 New CONVERGENCE Mini-Series

Convergence is coming to the DC Universe and, fittingly, each week more and more pieces of the puzzle behind DC Comics‘ forthcoming two-month event are coming together. The sprawling crossover event, which debuts in April 2015, the thirtieth anniversary of Crisis on Infinite Earths, finds Brainiac collecting cities, planets, and entire worlds from across the DC Comics multiverse, placing them in domes, and then opening them up to see what happens when the characters from these disparate worlds come into contact with one another. Spoiler alert: it’s probably not going to end well.

Over the past two weeks, DC has unveiled 20 mini-series that will run alongside the primary storyline of Convergence. In addition to the core storyline, DC Comics will publish 40 different tie-in mini-series and today we have an exclusive sneak peek at 10 more of those titles, including 5 pieces of never-before-seen interior art that feature the return of Brainiac-5 and the Legion of Super-Heroes, Hawkman and Hawkgirl battling anthropomorphic rat-men, The Flash trapped in Gotham City, and much more.

  1. B.H. Pitt says:

At least all of this is temporary, it’s just an event DC is pushing while they change headquarters. Then they role out the new post-convergence line, which will be 24 new titles and they’ll be doing away with “The New 52” title. Though, that’s not really similar to what Marvel is doing. Marvel is doing something closer to what DC did in 2011 with The New 52 by means of combining their Ultimate and regular universes to create a brand new universe.

  2. Fido says:

If it’s got Batman in it then I’m there. If not I’m not really interested. Though may check out the Catwoman one 🙂

  3. Buck says:

Much as I love Kelley Jones work, I can’t buy in to this crossover nonsense.

  4. Legion_Lover says:

They just can’t get the Legion right.  This just looks like a smelly, steaming pile.

  5. Eagle Eddie says:

    Yes! Hawkman is back!

  6. Harlan says:

I’m looking to an end to DC’s BS.

  7. Jon Davis says:

Wow, that sounds a lot like what Marvel is doing with Secret Wars. Let’s see which one does the same thing better…yeesh.
