Exclusive ARROW Season 3 and THE FLASH Season 1 Videos!

In just two weeks, Arrow and The Flash will be back on The CW with new seasons as they take on new threats, bring in new heroes, and pave the way for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, the third live-action series in The CW’s DC Television Universe. But first, it’s time to revisit the most recent seasons of two of the best superhero shows on TV!

Arrow Season 3 and The Flash Season 1 hit Blu-ray and DVD today with box sets featuring 23 episodes each, along with gag reels, deleted scenes, commentaries, and behind-the-scenes featurettes. Today, we’ve got two exclusive clips from the Arrow and The Flash Blu-rays to tide you over until you can get your hands on them!

In the first clip (posted above), Arrow star John Barrowman, art director Bridget McGuire, and production designer Richard Hudolin talk about bringing Ra’s al Ghul’s temple in Nanda Parbat to life, with a focus on The Lazarus Pool, which holds the secret of Ra’s’ seemingly eternal life!

The second video throws the spotlight on The Flash co-star Carlos Valdes, as his character, Cisco Ramon gets a supercut of the nicknames that he gave the supervillains during the first season. Admittedly, some of the nicknames sound ridiculous when said out loud…but they are coming from The Flash comics, including the Rainbow Raider! The supercut also includes one of the few times that Cisco initially refused to give a supervillainess a nickname. “Female Inmate” was his alternate choice.

And lastly, we have a handy guide to all the key players in The Flash so far:
