EXCLUSIVE: “Aquaman” #21 Preview Pages Take Us to the Murky Deep

Geoff Johns may have recently ended his nearly decade-long run on Green Lantern, but he’s still plugging away on our favorite trident-wielding bad-ass, Aquaman. (Sorry, Brick Tamland.) In issue #21, the eerie Game of Thrones/White Walker-esque Dead King continues his reign of terror, as Aquaman battles internal turmoil in Atlantis and discovers a secret that could change everything he thought he knew about the Seven Seas. Sounds pretty exciting, huh? Well, wait until you see who the hell Mera is smooching on pg. 2. In the words of Ron Burgundy, “Well, that escalated quickly.” Johns continues to kill it narratively, and the undersea kingdoms look better than ever, thanks to some electrifying artwork from Paul Pelletier and Sean Parsons.

Now, without further ado, check out some exclusive preview pages of DC’s Aquaman #21.
