Every Easter Egg and Reference in Marvel’s ANT-MAN

So hopefully, you all went out and saw Marvel’s Ant-Man this past weekend right? If not, you really need to get on that, because Ant-Man is probably Marvel Studios’ best origin story film since the very first Iron Man movie came out back in 2008. Ant-Man is funny, it’s filled with a lot of heart, has great, imaginative effects sequences, and for a change, the fate of the whole world is not at stake in this one.

I can’t imagine living in the Marvel Universe, cinematic or otherwise, where a world-ending catastrophe nearly happens at least once a year, if not more. Can you imagine how on edge everyone would be all the time?? There should be an Office style sitcom set in the Marvel Cinematic New York, where it’s just employees jumping at every noise and taking anti-anxiety meds. But I digress.

Anyhow, like almost all Marvel Studios films, Ant-Man is filled to the brim with references to other Marvel movies, as well as Easter Eggs referring to the original Marvel comics they are based on, maybe more in this movie than any other to date.

SPOILERS for Ant-Man from here on out folks.

Some of them are pretty obvious, like having Haley Atwell as an older Peggy Carter, and John Slattery reprising his role as the older version of Howard Stark from Iron Man 2, or the conversation Hank Pym and Scott Lang have about the Avengers’ recent adventures in Age of Ultron. But thanks to YouTube user Mr. Sunday Movies, he’s discovered several more that even the most hardcore Marvel aficionado might have missed.

So check out the video above, and let us know in the comments if there are any Mr. Sunday Movies forgot to include that maybe you caught.
