The Mortal Kombat X roster has been unraveling so quickly leading up to its April 15th release, I wouldn’t surprised if they started adding DC characters at this point. Alright, that had to be the most unfunny joke given certain things that have happened in the past, so please forgive me. Speaking of the past, we got our first look at the acid spitting brawler Reptile earlier this week. Now, NetherRealm Studios has revealed another returning roster member, the soul-composed, fleet-footed assassin, Ermac. Watch him give Sub-Zero the business in his debut trailer below:

Though his appearance and mannerisms have only slightly been altered, Ermac’s move set appears to be vastly different from previous games. Perhaps his alternate archetypes bear closer resemblance to the Ermac we saw in MK9, but it seems like anyone who mained him before (like myself) will have to learn a completely different character. I’m certainly up to the challenge!
